This
is an open-front shelter whose back panel slopes directly to
the ground and whose sides splay outwardly so that there is not a single
square inch of fabric in a vertical position. Because of this, a
campfire's warmth is “bounced” off all three walls back towards the
occupants. This makes an easily heated shelter even in cool weather.
Suspension is by means of a ridge pole set into a pair of six foot
saplings. The tent may also be suspended on a rope strung between two
trees.
