CUT SIZE WALL TENTS
Cut Size Wall Tents
are more economically designed. Seam
allowance and shrinkage is not factored into the sixes described. For this
reason frame usage is discouraged, and options are limited. Other than
that they are constructed the same as the finished size wall tents. These
tents are great for set-ups using timbers or ridge pole frames. The
finished size without shrinkage is about 5% smaller. Windows and rear door
can be added to these tents.
The
Complete Ridge Pole, A - Frame is
designed by, and dropped shipped from Cylinder Stoves. It is made with 1
3/8" tubing and breaks
down to 40" lengths. The A-Frame design allows the ridge height to be
adjustable and keeps the
doorway free of a vertical pole. The cable truss keeps the ridge from
sagging without the use of a
center pole. Although in wet snow conditions a temporary support is
advised.
Break down side poles are included with eye bolts for securing the top of
the pole to the eve of the
tent, and ground steaks are supplied for receiving the bottom of the pole.
All other tent stakes are not
included. I use 12" X 3/8" log spikes. This frame system works
great for cut size tent but
also adapts to any size tent as long as the ridge pole is long enough.
